Bio

Prof Stanley is a Visiting Professor in Toxicology at Edinburgh Napier University (ENU), an advisor to several UK Government departments and a Consultant in Investigative Toxicology.

She is also an Ordained Local Minister in the Church of Scotland, acting as Finance Convener for the Presbytery of Perth, working as an Honorary Chaplain at the University of Stirling and serving various parishes in the Stirling area. 

As a Eurotox Registered Toxicologist (ERT), Prof Stanley sat on the Panel of the UK Register of Toxicologists for ten years. She was Vice-Chair from 2012-2015 and Chair for three years, to the end of 2018. 

In November 2018 Prof Stanley was awarded a Fellowship by the British Toxicology Society in recognition of her substantial contributions to the discipline of toxicology and to the work of the Society.
